PANTHELLA 160 V3 BY LOUIS POULSEN
The Panthella lamp is one of Verner Panton's most notable designs, embodying the larger-than-life personality of the Danish architect. His vision was to create an organic-shaped lamp that offers 100% glare-free illumination, with both the stand and shade acting as light reflectors. This vision came to fruition in 1971 when Panton collaborated with Louis Poulsen to produce the Panthella lamp. Its distinctive shape and ability to emit soft light from its trumpet-shaped base have solidified its reputation as a design icon. The Panthella 160 Portable lamp is a compact version of the original, with a diameter of just 160 mm, making it ideal for moving from room to room or taking outdoors to a balcony or garden, where it enhances the atmosphere beautifully.
