In collaboration with renowned American artist Emma Kohlmann, HAY introduces a ceramic tableware collection that feels both playful and poetic. Each piece is crafted from durable stoneware and hand-painted with Kohlmann’s signature motifs – abstract yet intimate, fluid yet full of character.
From plates and bowls to vases, cups, jugs, and trivets, every object in the La Pittura series carries its own distinct mood and energy. The Italian name La Pittura (“the painting”) reflects the collection’s core idea: to bring art into daily rituals, whether it’s a shared meal, a quiet coffee, or a decorative corner of your home.
Designed in a rich, vivid palette, these pieces work just as well on your dining table as they do hung on a wall or placed on a shelf as standalone artworks. They’re dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe, and food-safe, made to be used without hesitation.
